New photos have been added to pups' separate pages too. This compilation of photos features Claire (Buddy and Yana's mum) showing glimpses of how the piranhas spend their time at 5 weeks old. Other than climbing over visitors, much time is spent chewing on each other and racing round with and without toys. The pups enjoy dragging their bedding around (usually when it's just been cleaned) and also like to do the same with the newspapers that line the floor. Walking through their own poop is also a favourite pasttime, particularly when I'm just about to pick it up.

Here Yana demonstrates how the pups con visitors into thinking they're adorable and cuddly.
The next step is the group climbing expedition to find chewable items - here Floyd, Maisey, Paige and Yana do the reconnaissance.

Yana has successfully located a zip on Claire's arm to chew on and she goes to work on it.
Meanwhile, Maisey has found one of Claire's toes to chew on...

...Which is later claimed by Layla...
...then Floyd...

...then Paige.
The pups are distracted from chewing on Claire by uncle Buddy, but he's too good at escaping from their sharp little teeth...

...so it's back to Claire (from bottom Diesel, Phoebe, Floyd and Yana).
...and then eventually some go off to sleep (from left Phoebe, Maisey, Paige and Yana).
