Fratzi was a great show dog, with numerous all breed and specialty successes. She was also a great companion...and a sheep herder. She was my first dog of my own so will always be special to me.
Fratzi had been health tested (as well as was possible back then) before having 3 litters with 23 live pups under my mother's 'Hexenhaus' kennel name. Unfortunately Fratzi developed health problems after her last litter and died all too young. I kept Freddy from that last litter but chose not to breed on from Freddy so Fratzi is not related to any of my current Boxers.
Many of Fratzi's offspring went on to do very well and she lies behind several NZ and Australian champions. My mother Anna Rosenstreich still has the Hexenhaus lines, now in Western Australia - click here for more information on the Hexenhaus boxers. The group photo below shows Fratzi (back right) with her mum Gundi and grandma Peppi.
