Buddy was a surprise late arrival coming 5 hours after the rest of the pups. He was the quietest pup of the litter - I think of him as a gentle giant. He wasn't backwards when it comes to fun & games or getting a feed, and he'd climb up to nap on my lap just like his brothers & sisters, but he's just more relaxed about life. His temperament seems to be a lot like his mum - a biddable gentle nature, more interested in being close to family than in finding something to chase or leap on.

In his second week of life Buddy was happy to save his energy for feeding and naps and while he was beginning to explore and play with his littermates, he certainly wasn't the most active pup! The two photos of Buddy sleeping demonstrate his favourite past-time in his second week.
